What it is
Preservé is a breast augmentation technique developed by Motiva. Instead of dissecting tissue to make room for the implant, it eases and stretches it — the structures that support the breast are preserved rather than cut.
That single difference explains everything that follows. And because it requires dedicated instruments and specific training, the technique may only be performed by surgeons certified by the manufacturer.
It can be carried out under light sedation or general anaesthesia.
What changes for you
- Your own tissue is preserved — The space for the implant is opened by easing aside the structures that support the breast, rather than cutting them.
- A more comfortable recovery — In the procedures performed with the technique, a more comfortable recovery and a faster return to everyday activities have been observed.
- A scar of about 2 cm — The incision sits in the fold beneath the breast and measures around 2 cm, because the implant passes through a funnel without touching the skin.
- A plan built for your body — Volume, shape and proportion are defined from your anatomy and what you want.
